Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping at Little Red Squirrel.

  1. Please note that in terms of Australian consumer law, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. This includes not being able to claim a refund when an item goes on sale or is available at a discount after you have purchased it at a higher price within or after the 21 (twenty one) calendar days referred to in (5) below.
  2. However, you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem, excluding, however, slight colour differences thanks to screen display differences and photography of the said item. Major problems with the item is when the item:
    • has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it;
    • is unsafe;
    • is significantly different from the sample or description; or
    • does not do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.
  3. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You are responsible for payment of the return shipping/postage of the item which must include tracking. If you elect to use an uintracked method or shipping or postage you will have no recourse against either ourselves or the post office/courier if we never receive the returned item.  Please keep your proof of purchase ­— e.g. your receipt.
  4. Alternatively, you can choose to keep the item and we will compensate you for any drop in value as determined by ourselves. If the problem is not major, we will repair the item within a reasonable time. If it is not repaired in a reasonable time you can choose a refund or replacement.
  5. Our  refund policy lasts 21 (twenty one) calendar days, that is, 3 (three) weeks. If 21 (twenty one) calendar days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
  6. Certain types of goods are not eligible for returns and refunds. Examples of these types of goods are perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines, intimate or sanitary goods, and personal care items.
  7. Refunds (if applicable)
    • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    • If your refund is approved, it will be processed within 7 (seven) days. Please note that the postage or shipping fees paid by yourself will not be refunded but only the cost of the item(s) or partial cost of the item(s), as the case may be, will be refunded.
